Fiction

***Her stories are magical and profound, but light and funny at the same time. She is a dazzling storyteller. Amy Scheibe, Free Press, Simon & Schuster Inc.***Immensely talented and truly original. Anjali Singh, Vintage Books ***Her humour and her robust imagination made for a thoroughly refreshing read. Asya Muchnick, Little Brown and Co, NY

Issue12 Great comments from a clutch of US publishers, but no book deal as yet. Sadly, they all want stories less short, ie novels. Any visiting publisher-lurkers who still love the brief, the bold, the boisterous - please step this way. In the meantime, I've published several stories in magazines such as Product and Chapman, and have put another few up online.

If can spare a second or two, take a dander round the tiny gleaming perfections that are the nanonovels. Or if you're feeling expansive and ready to wriggle deep into your leathreen chair, head for the stories less short.

Some of the nanonovels can also be heard online in mp3 format:
you! yes, you!
the find
stuck story
holiday home
disinfected youth

This year, I'm also writing a series of daily short stories based on random stimuli. Particle fictions are here.
